Last night we held our event to highlight Romance Scams and we welcomed DI Steve Johnson as our guest speaker.

It was lovely to welcome people from all over Greenwich, Bromley and as far as field as Warwickshire.

It was interesting to learn that these type of fraudsters don’t start asking for money until approximately 123 days into the “relationship”.

Remember that they also avoid having a online video call with you and will give many reasons that they aren’t able to do it. For example - work restrictions.
